 Roland MT-32 and LAPC users:

If you are set up for stereo sound panning (the
movement of sound from one side to the other), the
panning may be backwards.

The solution is to reverse the Right and
Left cables leaving your Roland device and entering
your amplification device (stereo, amplified
speakers, etc.).

The midi specification for stereo panning calls
for midi controller number 10 values 0 - 127 to
operate from LEFT to RIGHT. The MT-32 and LAPC
devices were engineered to work from RIGHT to LEFT.

If we were to compensate for this it would effect
all other midi devices, causing them to pan incorrectly.
We elected to follow the midi specification for
this reason.

NOTE: When dealing with electronic devices, we
recommend that you make cable connection changes
with the power to each device switched OFF.

 Tandy 2500XL users:

Our INSTALL program occasionally misses the Tandy 2500XL's
sound capabilities. You know you've got 3-voice sound and
a DAC chip, so go ahead and choose our TANDY3VD driver!
