***			 AudioDrive Maestro-2E OS/2 Driver

				 Version 1.00

			    Software Release Notes

				April 23, 1998

***			    (modified Nov 25, 1999)

***	Preface
 *	This driver is the original driver as provided by ESS Technology. It
 *	shares all the same capablities and limitations as the Maestro-2
 *	driver. I don't support this driver in any way because I haven't written
 *	it. If you experience problems contact ESS Technology.
 *
 *	My modifications are:
 *
 *	- change *one* bit in maestro2.sys (the binary difference between
 *	1968h and 1978h), and rename the driver to maestr2e.sys. This makes
 *	the driver recognise the chip with PCI device ID 1978h (the Maestro-2E)
 *	instead of the chip with device ID 1968h (the Maestro-2).
 *
 *	- change the readme and install files to refer to 'Maestro-2E' instead
***	of 'Maestro-2'.
