4th & Inches will require hacking to remove its copy protection. The first page of the file "Manual.pdf" details its copy protection scheme.

The file "draganddropcopy.dsk" was made by dragging the 4th & Inches floppy icon to a hard drive, and the resulting folder was made into a disk image with Aladdin ShrinkWrap in DiskDup+ format. At one point when reading the "System" file from the master disk, a warning popped up saying it is unable to copy; "continue" was chosen from the dialog box.

The file "toleratebadsectors.dsk" was made from the original floppy with DiskDup+ being set to tolerate bad sectors. DiskCopy 4.2 is unable to copy the original disk.

Included are some text files on how to patch DOS versions of Accolade games; it is unknown by this author whether this has any relevance for the Mac versions.

In addition, it is possible this game will need a real live Mac Plus or SE, or at least its copy protection scheme demands it. Attempts to run the game from the original floppy on a Classic II and a PowerBook 540c did not work.
